Faculty Development Academies

NCyTE will host four free virtual faculty development academies during the spring and summer of 2022, intended for current community and technical college faculty members.

There will be two different academies— one designed for cybersecurity faculty and the other for faculty from non-cyber teaching disciplines. Each academy will allow participants to expand their knowledge, earn an industry certification, and strengthen their ability to incorporate new cybersecurity content into their curriculum.

Participants can expect to:

- Improve their knowledge of emerging technologies, products, and trends in the cybersecurity field

- Receive instructional resources and regional workforce statistics

- Increase technical expertise and credentials

- Gain knowledge of how to engage with regional industry

- Build additional leadership skills

- Each academy will be four sessions long. Eligible participants will receive a stipend upon successfully completing an academy.
