Who Should Attend:
Faculty and administrators seeking to create, develop or improve a cybersecurity program at their college are invited to attend the Program Development and Technical Assistance Workshop designed to help faculty or administrators add or enhance cybersecurity programs of study at colleges.
The workshop is split into three 2-hour online sessions to allow time to fully cover the subject matter. Please allocate time to attend each.
Presenter: Corrinne Sande
Ms. Sande is the director of the National Cybersecurity Resource Center funded by the National Security Agency, and Principal Investigator for NCyTE, a National Science Foundation–funded Advanced Technological Education (ATE) national resource center that works to grow and strengthen the nation’s cybersecurity workforce. Both centers are hosted at Whatcom Community College (WCC). Through Ms. Sande’s efforts, WCC became the first National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense—Two-Year Education (CAE2Y) on the West Coast. Ms. Sande also serves as the Principal Investigator of the Catalyzing Computing and Cybersecurity in Community Colleges (C5) NSF-funded grant and is the Director of Computer Science and Computer Information Systems at WCC.
