Sr. Manager, Cybersecurity, Western Region, Lockheed Martin Company
Darren is the Enterprise Cybersecurity Architect for Lockheed Martin Space. This position includes the leadership of enterprise level efforts, digital transformation, and providing technical direction for related efforts. Darren brings over 25 years of cybersecurity experience working across many domains and customers. His cybersecurity experience includes, design, engineering, management, analysis, penetration testing, and forensics. Darren also has several years' experience in Project Management, grounding him to the needs of the business.
Darren started supporting Information Systems for the DoD during deployments while serving in the US Army as an Apache Helicopter avionics and weapon system specialist. He worked in several areas in his career to include supporting the CIO in the US Army Material Command, architected and designed cloud-technology based solution for classified mission systems, and consulted for the FBI during Super Bowl 50. He has adopted Agile methodologies and DevSecOps concepts in highly classified programs to build secure, value-driven, solutions to US Government customers. Darren has a BS in Computer Science, an MS in Software Engineering from Texas Tech, currently pursuing a Doctorate in Computer Science with concentration in Cybersecurity and Information Security and holds multiple cybersecurity certifications including the CISSP with the Engineering Focus and the Certified Ethical Hacker.
