Melina Scotto is a veteran CISO and cybersecurity executive who has advised Fortune 500 corporations and Federal Civilian agencies on cyber resiliency, enterprise security architecture, and framework alignment. Her 25‑year journey in cybersecurity began with reducing IT security risk across global health, transportation, and education programs, followed by hands‑on engineering roles that shaped her expertise in virtualized and cloud‑based environments.
In 2012, Melina joined the National Institutes of Health, where she spent a decade in engineering, security, and leadership positions supporting one of the world’s most complex research ecosystems. She later served as Federal Health CISO and Chief Privacy Officer for General Dynamics Information Technology, and subsequently as Vice President of Global Information Security and CISO for an international hotel brand, strengthening cyber posture across worldwide systems, services, and applications.
Melina holds industry‑leading certifications including CISSP, CEH, CISA, CCSP, PMP, and Board Qualified Technology Expert.
