The National Applied AI Consortium (NAAIC) is reshaping AI workforce development by supporting community colleges in developing AI courses and programs. Through partnerships with leading technology companies and higher-education institutions, NAAIC equips faculty with the resources, professional development, and industry connections needed to teach AI effectively. Their work, sponsored by the National Science Foundation, helps colleges build relevant, accessible AI programs that prepare students for high-demand jobs.

Antonio Delgado is passionate about creating and providing educational opportunities that change lives. As the Vice President of Innovation and Technology Partnerships at Miami Dade College, he has focused on realizing the institution’s ethos as an equalizer of opportunity for economic mobility. At MDC, Antonio leads initiatives like the National Applied AI Consortium and Miami Tech Works to position the college as a national and regional leader in tech workforce development in emerging technologies. He also oversees the implementation of AI solutions in the college's operations and academic programs.

Antonio has accumulated over 20 years of experience in management and technology consulting across the United States, Europe, Central America, and the Caribbean, including country manager at one of Latin America’s leading technology companies. Antonio currently serves as a Fellow for New America’s Future of Work and Innovation Economy initiative.
